What Does “Workforce Development” Mean to You Personally?

Workforce development includes a variety of activities depending on individual needs - which can include: Skills Training: Teaching people the technical or soft skills needed for specific industries. Education Programs: Offering GED prep, vocational training, apprenticeships and skills training. Career Services: Resume help, interview coaching, job search assistance. Support Services: To remove barriers to training and/or employment. This may mean providing childcare, transportation, or financial aid so people can access training and jobs.
