This workshop is designed with flexibility in mind! Each date includes two parts, and you’re welcome to attend Part One, Part Two, or both, depending on your interests and needs. The content is the same on each date, so choose the time that works best for your schedule.

In this workshop you will:

  • Learn about the Maryland Unemployment Insurance benefits and filing process and other local and state support programs available to you

  • Get guidance on the jobs and careers in Frederick County

  • Identify your transferable skills to help you identify a new career path

Whether you're ready to dive into the job market or simply need space to process and plan, this workshop is here to help you take the next step—at your own pace.

This event is free and open to all affected workers.

Attend What Works for You

This workshop is designed with flexibility in mind! Each date includes two parts, and you’re welcome to attend Part One, Part Two, or both, depending on your interests and needs. The content is the same on each date, so choose the time that works best for your schedule.

In this workshop you will:

  • Learn about the Maryland Unemployment Insurance benefits and filing process and other local and state support programs available to you

  • Get guidance on the jobs and careers in Frederick County

  • Identify your transferable skills to help you identify a new career path

  • Learn about resources to help you find companies that interest you

  • Get setup to connect and find local networking opportunities

  • Develop a simple action plan for next steps and info on how to connect to the supports you may need
