Supporting Adult Career Development

Program Overview

The Elevate program provides career case management for adults 18 and older who need support in identifying and pursuing a career pathway.

Participants receive guidance from an Employment and Training Consultant (ETC) to set career goals and navigate their job search.

Elevate helps individuals align with Frederick County’s high-growth, high-demand industries. While registration is ongoing, eligibility requirements apply.

Three Phases of Elevate

  1. Career Exploration: Explore career pathways and local labor market trends, take assessments to evaluate your skills, interests, and aptitudes, and identify skill gaps to improve your marketability.

  2. Job Preparation: Receive resources for online applications, resume development, interview techniques, and networking strategies. For some participants, additional training may be available to help upgrade skills and enhance marketability.

  3. Alumni Support: Extends for one year, offering monthly check-ins to track employment status and provide ongoing guidance. Participants gain access to exclusive resources for continued job search efforts and career pathway development.
