FCWS Customer Service Access and Guidance
The roof replacement project is finished, and FCWS will return to normal operations on Monday, September 8. We appreciate your patience and understanding while this work was underway!
Frederick County Workforce Services offices at the American Job Center will be closed Tuesday, September 2nd through Friday, September 5th for roof replacement, with additional closure days possible later in September. We will provide updates as they become available and apologize for any inconvenience.
During these temporary office closures, in-person and walk-in services will be unavailable. However, expanded virtual services will be available to ensure continued support for job seekers and employers.
Some scheduled workshops/events may be moved, rescheduled, or held virtually. Due to the nature of the construction, the schedule remains fluid and may change based on weather and other conditions.
To maintain public access to services during building closures, we’re implementing the following:
Phone Support: The main phone line will be monitored, to ensure calls are answered and routed appropriately.
Job Search Support: Virtual appointments will be offered in place of walk-in hours during building closures. Visit the Events Calendar to schedule an appointment.
