Temporary Office Closures & Service Updates: FCWS at the American Job Center
FCWS Customer Service Access and Guidance
Roof replacement work at our 200 Monroe Avenue, Frederick, MD location will begin on August 13 and continue throughout the month. On certain days, the offices will be closed, and no walk-in services will be available—but expanded virtual services be available.
Some workshops and events may be canceled, rescheduled, or held at alternate locations. The schedule is fluid and may change due to weather or construction conditions.
To ensure continued access to services during building closures, we’re implementing the following temporary process changes:
Phone Support: The main phone line will be monitored, ensuring incoming calls are answered and routed appropriately.
Job Search Support: Virtual appointments will be offered in place of walk-in hours during building closures. Visit the Events Calendar to schedule an appointment.
We encourage customers to check this page and our Events Calendar regularly for the most up-to-date details.
We’ll also share updates on our social media channels.
Thank you for your patience as we make these important improvements!
