The OJT program allows you to start working in a role while receiving hands-on training to address any skill gaps. This approach helps you gain the necessary skills to fully meet the job responsibilities and achieve long-term employment.
Offered exclusively for Frederick County residents, the OJT program provides a valuable opportunity to build essential skills and secure meaningful, long-term employment.
How It Works
Full-Time Employment: Begin as a full-time employee with a participating business.
On-Site Training: Receive hands-on training to develop the skills needed for your new role. You may already possess some of the skills required for the position, but not all. The training provided by the business during your employment will equip you with the remaining skills needed to fully meet the job responsibilities.
Career Growth: Prepare for long-term employment in vacant positions within the business.
Additional Support and Business Benefits
Business Incentive: Employers benefit from reimbursement of a portion of wages during the training phase, making it an attractive incentive for businesses to participate.

Whether you have experience or are eager to learn a skilled trade, we want to hear from you! Training is available for the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Installation Responsibilities:
Apply window tint film to vehicles with precision and care
Cut, trim, and install vinyl graphics, PPF, and other automotive accessories
Use hand tools safely and efficiently
Assist senior technicians as needed
Perform glass installation tasks when required
Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety guidelines
Customer Service Responsibilities:
Greet customers and make them feel welcome
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services
Explain tint types, shades, benefits, and installation process
Provide accurate price quotes and estimates
Promote current specials and companion products
Process payments (cash, card, and other methods)
Schedule appointments and help manage customer expectations
Assist with general shop duties and support team as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required:
A valid driver’s license in good standing
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and precision
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Team player mindset
Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools
Willingness to learn and grow in the role
Professional, courteous, and punctual
Preferred (but not required):
1+ years of window tint or graphics installation experience
Familiarity with hand tools and installation equipment
Experience in retail or customer service

Are You a Good Fit for On-the-Job Training?
To take advantage of the On-the-Job Training (OJT) program, you should meet the following criteria:
Frederick County Resident: You must live in Frederick County.
Age Requirement: You need to be at least 18 years old.
Work Authorization: You must be authorized to work in the US.
Selective Service Registration: You should be registered for selective service, if applicable.
Employment Status: You should be either unemployed or underemployed.
Skill Gap: You should have some of the skills needed for the position but require additional training to fully meet the job's requirements. The program will help you gain these necessary skills.
Interest and Capability: You need to be interested in and capable of participating in on-the-job training.

Eligibility Check: We will determine your eligibility for the program through a screening process.
Interviews with Selected Candidates: Eligible candidates will be invited for interviews.
