Mobile Career Center

Frederick County Workforce Services (FCWS) proudly welcomes the newly launched Mobile Career Center (MCC) to our community!

As part of the County’s robust Economic and Workforce Development System, the MCC is designed to meet job seekers where they are—bringing employment and career services directly to neighborhoods throughout Frederick County.

We’re excited about the possibilities this new resource will offer, including its ability to expand access to career exploration, job search assistance, and support for youth, young adults, and students. The MCC strengthens our commitment to meeting residents’ needs—wherever they are on their workforce journey.

Features and Services

The state-of-the-art MCC includes:

  • Six computer workstations with internet access, including one that is ADA-accessible for individuals with mobility limitations

  • A dedicated staff workstation

  • Printer and scanner for document support

  • An outdoor awning and presentation screen for community workshops and events

The MCC will travel throughout Frederick County to provide services such as:

  • Job search assistance and resume support

  • Interview preparation

  • Career exploration & planning

  • Digital literacy training

  • Connections and referrals to supportive services and community resources

  • Workforce outreach at job fairs, community centers, and neighborhood events

  • And friendly staff to offer encouragement and assistance you need for a successful job search
