Design Trainee

The Designer Trainee is an entry-level position tailored to give the candidate industry knowledge and hands-on experience with the design software. Under the supervision of the Design Manager and along with self-study courses, the Designer Trainee is encouraged to experience all aspects of the industry. This allows the Trainee to gain all the necessary tools to test for promotions to Level I, II, III and Senior Design positions.

 
 

Maintenance Trainee

Maintenance Mechanics maintain the equipment and physical plant of 84 Components manufacturing facility in good working order and repair. As a Maintenance Trainee, you'll learn all about the different machinery in order to troubleshoot and make repairs.

 
 

Production Builder

As a Production Builder, you'll aid in the building of items such as trusses that are then sent to customers. 84 Lumber’s world-class training program will teach you what you need to get started. You'll use hand tools and machines to build items according to specifications. With a keen eye for safety, you'll maintain a clean and safe working environment, taking care of both the materials, area, and tools.

 
 

Production Manager Trainee

The Production Manager Trainee will learning the total operations of the location. Doing a little bit of everything, you'll learn about sales, creating material estimates from blueprints, inventory control, building loads for delivery, loading/unloading freight and maintaining physical location plant. You'll complete a course of study as outlined within assigned time frame and must be willing to relocate for management position.
