Join us for an information session to learn about the Catalyst program, and how we can help you navigate through a career decision making process. This session will provide information about the resources for career exploration and training, work readiness, job search, and more that are available to Catalyst participants. It will also cover eligibility requirements and next steps for enrolling in the program.

April 21 | Expungement Information Session (Virtual)
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Learn about the legal process of Expungement in Maryland during this FREE Virtual Information Session hosted by the Frederick County Maryland Legal Aid office. This process is essential to removing barriers to second chances. Participants will have the availability to schedule an appointment to meet one-on-one with an Attorney following the information session. Space is limited; please call 301-600-2757 to register.

Join us for an information session about the Elevate program, where we’ll walk you through the three phases of our career case management. April 23 | Reconnection Roundtable

Real Talk. Real Support. Real Next Steps.
Looking for a space to stay motivated in your job search? The Reconnection Roundtable is a group conversation that meets every other week to support individuals with justice involvement as they explore career paths and move forward.
It’s a chance to connect with others who get it, talk through challenges, and encourage each other along the way. A staff member helps guide the conversation, but it’s really about building each other up and staying on track.
No pressure, just support, real talk, and people who want to see you succeed.

Through weekly meetings with an experienced group facilitator, the Job Club at Frederick County Workforce Services provides a supportive, confidential environment for job seekers to share challenges and learn from the experiences of others. Topics covered range from job hunting strategies and interview techniques to how to develop networking skills and handle difficult emotions. Seating is limited. Attention Frederick County Employers! Join us for Workplace Recovery Resources & Overdose Response, an interactive workshop designed for executives, managers, HR professionals, and supervisors.
Learn how to utilize local recovery resources and peer support. This session also features a hands-on Naloxone training to equip participants with lifesaving skills.
Takeaway: Employee Recovery Resource Toolkits to connect employees to recovery-friendly practices, and on Overdose Response Kit to enhance workplace preparedness.
