Thompson Best Heating & Air Conditioning - Service Technician

Salary Range: $28-$40 hourly

Job Information:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. 8 hour shifts, on call, overtime, and year round work.

Essential Duties:

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and heat pumps.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems, including identifying and addressing leaks and other performance problems.

  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and extend the life of the equipment.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often in cramped or noisy spaces, and in various weather conditions.

  • Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete tasks.

  • Drive a company van to and from job sites.

  • Conduct field service calls and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Develop and maintain mechanical knowledge to perform complex repairs and installations.

  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
