Building Connections, Creating Opportunities: A Successful Fall 2025 Job Fair with FCWS

On October 1, the Frederick County Workforce Services Fall 2025 Job Fair at Warehouse Cinemas brought together an impressive mix of opportunity, connection, and community support. Nearly 30 businesses engaged with more than 300 job seekers to discuss the 200+ job opportunities across a wide range of industries.

Several community resource organizations were also on-site, sharing valuable information on local support services such as transportation, job search support, continuing education, and more.

Feedback from employers was overwhelmingly positive, citing high engagement and a strong pool of candidates. Job seekers—representing a broad spectrum of career interests—echoed that sentiment, with many leaving the event with solid leads and renewed confidence.

A crowd favorite was the raffle giveaway, featuring prizes donated by Golden Mile businesses, including a free month of gym memberships, restaurant coupons, and movie passes. This fun and engaging addition added extra energy to the day and showcased the power of connecting job seekers with meaningful opportunities and strong community partnerships.
