Frederick County Workforce Services (FCWS) offers financial support to qualified job seekers to help cover the costs associated with upgrading skills in order to meet labor market demands. Please call (301) 600-2255 to arrange a meeting with a Career Specialist for an initial skills assessment and overview of this beneficial program.
Computer and Job Search Seminars:

job search seminars are held in-house on topics that range from how to get back into the workforce to tips and best practices on subjects such as resume writing and interviewing.

GED Program
For youth and adults interested in completing their high school education, the Business & Employment Center offers a flexible program that allows individuals to “drop-in” for tutoring on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between 9-12 p.m.
