Frederick WORKS! One Job at a Time
It's About Creating New Jobs and Boosting the Economy
Frederick WORKS! One Job at a Time is an initiative to encourage businesses in Frederick County to be a part of the unemployment solution, by creating and/or filling at least one new job in 2012.
“If each business in Frederick were to hire just one person this year, the economic impact would be enormous. Even if only a small portion of our businesses hired just one person this year, there would still be a significant and measurable impact on our local economy.” - FCWS Director, Laurie Holden
It's a Collaborative Effort
Launched by Frederick County Workforce Services (FCWS) and the Frederick County Workforce Development Board (WDB), Frederick WORKS! One Job at a Time is a collaborative effort to improve the economy and get citizens back to work.
Partners include:
Frederick County Chamber of Commerce
City of Frederick Department of Economic Development
Frederick County Division of Business Development and Retention
Frederick WORKS! One Job at a Time is championed by the Board of County Commissioners, Mayor Randy McClement and other local government leaders.
