Featured Position: Assistant Fitness Director

A critical part of our tribe, the Assistant Fitness Director will obtain leads and use Smart Start experiences to increase fitness sessions to meet and exceed sales goals and training expectations. The Assistant Fitness Director will introduce new members to facilities, the ultimate fitness experience, and discover member goals to create a meaningful entry point to fitness services.

The Assistant Fitness Director must possess excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and demonstrate the ability to motivate and nurture others. You must have a strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detail, have the ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude, and always maintain an outwardly facing professional appearance. US Fitness provides a fast paced high-energy environment that requires consistent quality of service, therefore, you must be the willing to work flexible hours.

The Assistant Fitness Director must possess an understanding of basic cash-handling procedures and computer skills. The Assistant Fitness Director must possess a nationally recognized personal training certification from a US Fitness accepted provider, be current with CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications, and complete 20-25 hours of professional development per year as established with Fitness Director.

The Assistant Fitness Director is responsible for processes including evaluations, programs, recruiting and hiring, and training fitness staff. will conduct Smart Start and goal evaluations and create safe and effective exercise programs for a wide variety of members. The Assistant Fitness Director will keep detailed records of program progress, trainer schedules, leads using the Exercise Readiness Questionnaire and Member Profile and uphold club building, facilities, service, program, and emergency procedures.

Featured Position: Working Foreman/Superintendent's Assistant

Construction firm seeking competent individual willing to be a serve as a "Working Foreman/Superintendent's Assistant" for various construction projects occurring at a Bio-Medical research facility located in Bethesda, Maryland. Applicant must have strong previous carpentry/construction (mainly carpentry) experience and be willing to work with their hand tools. This is not strictly a supervisory position. Individual will be working alongside carpentry and painting crews performing a variety of construction, handyman and move services tasks. The individual will also be responsible for assisting the site Superintendent on various tasks including project review, scheduling, supervision and quality control checks. Pay: Hourly 34.94/hour. No health insurance (medical/dental) or vacation time offered.

Requirements:
Must be able to pass initial and random drug testing.
Must be able to secure negative tuberculosis and MMR medical test results which are required for working within specialized research settings.
Must be able to pass Government security/background check for admission to secure facilities.
Positive work ethic with a focus on quality of work performed.
Must have reliable transportation to travel to and from work.
Must have the ability to lift at least 125-150 pounds. Lifting is a requirement for this position.
Must have professional attitude and well-kept appearance.
Must be willing to wear company tee-shirt during work days. (Shirts provided by firm).
Work hours, Monday - Thursday from 4:30am - 2:30pm. Some overtime is anticipated, however, consistent 40 hour work weeks are expected. The aforementioned work hours are mandatory and will not be modified.
