The Maryland Workforce Exchange (MWE) is a web-based system that matches employers with job seekers. It is both a “super search engine” and a database of jobs throughout the State of Maryland.  Similar to, MWE pulls jobs from thousands of websites and automatically searches other sites like,, craigslist, and more, which means that you don’t have to. It’s like a “one-stop-shop" for search engines, with an emphasis on local employment opportunities. Create a free MWE account to take advantage of this must-use resource for job seekers. 

LinkedIn is not only a professional networking site, but it is also another great source for identifying job openings that are not posted elsewhere online. Be sure to join LinkedIn Groups in your career field to access job postings available to members only.
