The Business and Employment Center (BEC) has been designated as a satellite campus by Frederick County Public Schools for those who wish to study and prepare for the General Equivalency Diploma. Teachers who specialize in Adult Education are available during drop-in hours: Monday - Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Students who are interested in pursuing a GED are encouraged to attend a GED orientation class at TJ Middle School, which is offered on Tuesday evenings. Individuals who have officially dropped out of school also have the option of attending Family Partnership, a family services center within Frederick County Government. Family Partnership provides educational and employment related programs and activities for youth between the ages of 14 and 21 through a partnership with Adult Education and Frederick County Workforce Services.
